Collaborative Product Design

Product Design + LCA
Objective:
In a remote-case collaborative group, we applied green innovation tools to redesign a product (gloves) for Weston, a backcountry ski and snowboard company. The group created a systems map and perfomed a baseline LCA to then evaluate multiple redesign scenarios against. In the final proposal, we present how each design scored across various sustainability metrics and why the winning design would be successful for the company’s bottom line and environmental impact.
